Communication is an integral part of nonprofit fundraising, and many nonprofits employ communications professionals that are housed under their development departments. This internship position with the Albin Polasek Museum will assist the Development Director, Lane Epps, with donor communications, research for grant proposals, and other communications like newsletter articles, mail campaigns, and press releases. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn about nonprofit management, how to write persuasively to make your “case for support,” and some tricks of the trade.
Social Media Marketing
We are looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and posting social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis.
